Moong dal Churi
Introducing our Dadima’s special moong dal churi paratha mix. The moong dal churi mix is our Dadima’s secret recipe. As children when we fussed over eating meals, our Dadima whipped us this awesome lip smacking paratha made with moong dal churi & all the children ate and had a full nutritious meal. Churi can also be used to make Khasta & kachori for family chai and snack time.

Moong Dal is stone ground in Dairiti - a traditional stone ground tool
Daal is rotated multiple times to get uniform small size granules.
Bamboo sieve is used to separate the dust from the churi.
Great homemade Lunch Box & travel food.
Directions: (For 4 parathas)
Soak for 1hr 50gms churi in enough water that the churi is completely dipped.
Drain water and add to the soaked churi, 100gms Tarai's whole wheat flour, 1 tsp Tarai's farm made cultured ghee(for moin).
Add ¼ tsp coriander powder, a pinch of hing, turmeric powder and garam masala each, salt, chopped green chillies and chilli powder as per your choice.
Mix well and knead a soft dough.
Roll and cook delicious parathas using our Tarai's farm made cultured ghee.
