Grown in Tarai Organic Farms' thriving food forest, this sustainable moong dal is a nature-powered protein punch. Moong is sown as a Kharif intercrop in our food forest.
Moong is a leguminous crop, it is in a symbiotic relationship with rhizobium bacteria which helps in fixing atmospheric nitrogen to meet its requirements and also helps surrounding plants and trees.
Our nitrogen-fixing legume enriches the soil while we sun-dry and stone-grind (derail) the beans for maximum nutrient retention. Free from additives and preservatives, this unpolished dal is a delicious source of vegetarian protein, fibre, calcium, iron, and vitamins – perfect for health-conscious diets.
